After its initial release in 1988, the Musical Fidelity A1 integrated amplifier has now been re-introduced three decades later with updated transformers, power supplies and modern low-noise components.
It is based on a fully discrete and symmetrical Class A topology and enables 25 watts of pure Class A power at 8 ohm load and 25 amps. If the standby current of Class A is exceeded, the amplifier automatically switches to Class B, temporarily enabling the further required current consumption.
