The new M6scd is a super CD player in every respect. It uses a 32-bit digital-to-analog converter with 192 kHz upsampling frequency and reproduces even the most complex recordings musically true to the original. From its predecessor, the M6CD, we adopted the fabulous CD drawer mechanism, which did the job well and proved to be extremely reliable in long-term use. Of course, the M6scd also has a wide variety of digital inputs. That means it's not only a world-class CD drive, but also a phenomenal stand-alone digital-to-analog converter! The two coaxial (RCA) digital inputs operate at up to 24-bit 192 kHz, while the two optical inputs (Toslink) and the asynchronous USB input provide up to 24-bit 96 kHz. The M6scd also has coaxial (Cinch) and optical (Toslink) digital outputs. The new M6scd offers outstanding sound quality, excellent disc readability and world-class metrology. It is the perfect symbiosis of excellent sound, good looks and a wide range of digital inputs, making it the ideal partner for the M6si integrated amplifier and a wide selection of other amplifiers.
