Features:

• In the original planar-magnetic models, the amplitude of vibration is increasingly low. As the diaphragm comes into contact with the magnets, the frequency of the bass had to be raised to a level that the driver could reproduce. To compensate for the lack of bass, the inside of the ear pads were sealed tightly and the front area of the diaphragm was made into an enclosed space.
• The D8000 uses AFDS (Air Film Damping System) to prevent contact between the diaphragm and magnet, making it possible to reduce the bass frequency that the driver can reproduce. In combination with breathable ear pads, an open bass reproduction with great sonority is achieved, which is only possible with the superior dynamic models.
