The Melody combines refined elegance and sophisticated design in a compact CD receiver. In stylish high-gloss black or in classic silver-gold, the Melody is always a real eye-catcher.

Perfect interaction with any loudspeaker

The Melody features four high-efficiency channels and digital audio amplification with low distortion, making it easy to drive two pairs of loudspeakers while adjusting the volume for each pair individually. Alternatively, you can operate only one pair of speakers in audiophile bi-amping mode. Double the output power per channel is then available. The Melody is also compatible with virtually every loudspeaker model on the market, including full-size floorstanding loudspeakers and 4 Ohm models.

Bluetooth integrated

Connect Melody wirelessly to a Bluetooth enabled device to enjoy your favourite content at the touch of a button. Integrated Bluetooth technology lets you stream your favorite music services endlessly from your mobile devices.

Supports a variety of file formats including 2.8 and 5.6 MHz DSD

Melody plays conventional PCM audio tracks from digital audio sources such as CDs and supports all common audio file formats including High Res.

Hi-Res audio support

Listen to music exactly as the artist intended. The M-CR412 decodes the lossless Hi-Res audio formats ALAC (96kHz/24Bit), AIFF, FLAC and WAV up to 192kHz/24 Bit and also DSD 2.8 and 5.6 MHz titles (of the audiophile SACD format).

2 optical digital inputs

Connect your digital TV or set-top box (for cable or satellite TV) and a Blu-ray or DVD player to one of the two digital audio inputs and enjoy the full dynamic range of digital audio playback with your favorite movies and TV shows. The Melody switches on automatically as soon as it receives an audio signal from the TV set. It can also be programmed to control volume, mute or input selection via the TV remote control.

Two-line display

On the front panel there is a very easy to read, two-line display. It displays both numbers and text very sharply and is also easy to read from the side.
