Denon is one of the few audio brands to consistently develop hi-fi components and maintain, enhance and share hi-fi knowledge. With the DCD-1600NE, we've set ourselves no lesser goal than to create the ideal model of a disc player: a player with extremely high precision when reading discs, sending immaculate signals to the amplifier. To meet this demand, we designed the circuits with extremely short signal paths and reduced them as much as possible. Our engineers have also redesigned the disc drive mechanism mounts and housing to further enhance vibration immunity, defying the biggest "enemy" of disc players. The data on the disc is now read with unprecedented accuracy. Pure signals are sent to the DCD-1600NE's Advanced AL32 Processing Plus circuitry. In addition to CDs and Super Audio CDs, the DCD can play back recordable CDs and DVDs with PCM up to 192/24 and DSD5.6, supporting high-definition audio.
