The MODEL 30 is based on a custom-made HDAM (Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Module), a circuit board with discrete circuits.

Marantz Musical Premium Phono EQ

The MODEL 30's phono EQ stage simplifies the signal path - which is crucial given the sensitivity of phono signals - for optimum sound quality. Thanks to the built-in MC cartridge amplifier, the unit can be used with both MC cartridges with low output voltage and MM cartridges.

Input impedance selector for MC/MM phono

The MODEL 30 provides optimum sound quality with MC and MM cartridges. It is equipped with a three-stage  input impedance selector to further optimize sound performance when using a cartridge with an MC system.
